Useful Information for Planning Your Trip
When is the best time to visit the US?
The best time to visit the US depends on what you want to do and which state you want to explore. The summer in Arizona, California, and Utah is extremely hot, but that could be a good time to visit the Northwest or Alaska. Hawaii can be visited all year, but November to March are usually wetter. We will be happy to provide recommendations on which regions to visit in your next vacation time, that best suit your travel style.
How many states can I visit on my trip?
It is possible to combine neighboring states together in the same itinerary, but it could increase driving time. Sometimes it makes more sense to visit areas of two different states instead of exploring every corner of one state. You can tell us one city or park you want to visit and we will craft the ideal itinerary from there.
Is it worth purchasing the National Parks Annual Pass?
If you plan on visiting three or more National Parks throughout the county on your trip, it is a great idea to purchase the Annual Pass (America the Beautiful). You can visit parks for a whole year. We will obtain the Pass for you and your family when you book with us.
How many days should I spend on vacation in the US?
Given the vastness of the country and travel time between interesting sights, the more time you have the better. In ten days, you can visit parks in Arizona and Eastern California, for example, but it might feel rushed. Ten days would also be the minimum length of travel to visit two different Hawaiian islands. We will always optimize your itinerary to keep driving time as low as possible without compromising the destinations.
