The best time to visit Vietnam is during the dry season, November to April. These months have lower humidity and less frequent rainfalls. However, Northern Vietnam can be quite cold in that period, and accordingly you need to pack jackets, gloves, and hats. Southern Vietnam is always quite hot and humid.
Are there direct flights from the US to Vietnam?
There are no direct flights from the US to Vietnam. Travelers will need to connect in Korea, Taiwan, Qatar, or Singapore and land in Hanoi or Ho Chi Min airports. Expect a minimum travel time of 22 hours. We can help you optimize your journey and make the best of your layover.
