Useful Information for Planning Your Trip
When is the best time to visit East Africa?
July to October is the dry season in East Africa, meaning there is little rain but many tourists. It is also the best time to witness the Great Migration river crossings. If you are looking for better value, consider traveling in June, November, or February.
What's incluced in my East Africa trip package?
Your safari package includes accommodation, all meals, airport transfers, all activities (game drives and others), regional transfers. Every detail of your trip is organized meticulously to provide a seamless experience.
Do I need a visa to visit East African countries?
US citizens do need a visa for visits to East Africa. For Kenya and Tanzania, travelers can apply online. Travelers arriving in Rwanda can obtain a visa on arrival at the airport in Kigali. We're happy to help with this. More info here.
Can I visit multiple countries on my trip?
Your itinerary could easily combine Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda. If you have only one week, we recommend traveling to two regions of one country.
Are children allowed to go on a safari?
Children above 5 years old can go on game drives. Some activities, such as walking safaris do have minimum age requirements. If you want to travel with children younger than 5 years old, we can help you find the best lodges that provide daycare service while the parents and older children are on game drives.
