When is the best time to visit Indonesia?

The best time to visit Indonesia is between April and September when the rainfall is less frequent. It's important to note that the tourist crowds are important in July and August.

Are there direct flights from the US to Indonesia?

There are no direct flights from the US to Indonesia. You have to connect at an other airport in Asia and and land at Denpasar airport (DPS) on Bali or Jakarta airport (CGK) on Java. Expect a minimum travel time of 22 hours. We can help you optimize your journey and make the best of your layover.

Do I need a visa to visit Indonesia?

US citizens need a visa to enter Indonesia. For short visits, up to 30 days, a visa on arrival will be obtained at the airport. 

How many days should I spend on vacation in Indonesia?

It is important to consider the long journey and the time difference when planning a trip to Indonesia. Allocate some time for recovery and relaxation upon landing, as well as adjusting to your new time zone. Therefore, we do not recommend traveling to Indonesia for less than 10 days. If you want to visit different islands, an itinerary of up to three weeks could be planned.
