When is the best time to visit Spain?

The best time to visit Spain is during spring (May to June) or fall (September to October) when the weather is pleasant, and tourist crowds are thinner. June and September will be hot enough to enjoy the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea. The Canary Islands can even be visited in the winter for a sunny escape, but only the bravest will dare to go for a swim.

Which Spanish airports have direct flights from the US?

Direct flights from the US to Spain commonly serve Barcelona airport (BCN) and Madrid airport (MAD). Expect a travel time of at least 7 hours.

Do I need a visa to visit Spain?

US citizens do not need a visa for short visits to Spain, up to 90 days. However, a valid passport is required, and starting sometime in 2025, an ETIAS authorization will be necessary for Americans which we're happy to help with. More info here.

How many days should I spend on vacation in Spain?
