The optimal time to visit Germany and Austria varies depending on interests. For city tours, cultural events, and outdoor activities, May through September offers warm and pleasant weather. For those interested in Christmas markets or winter sports, December through March is ideal.

Which German/Austrian airports have direct flights from the US?

​In Germany, major airports with direct flights from the US include Frankfurt Airport (FRA) and Munich Airport (MUC). In Austria, Vienna International Airport (VIE) provides the most extensive connections to the US, offering direct flights to and from several major American cities.

Do I need a visa to visit Germany or Austria?
