Do I need a visa to visit Croatia and Montenegro?
US citizens do not need a visa for short visits to Croatia or Montenegro, up to 90 days. However, a valid passport is required. Also, note that if you choose to visit both countries, you will have to cross a border as Montenegro is not part of the Schengen agreement.
How many days should I spend on vacation in Croatia and Montenegro? Can I visit only one of the two countries?
A vacation in Croatia and Montenegro can be as brief as a week to enjoy a specific region, like Croatia's Dalmatian Coast, or up to two or three weeks for an extensive trip that covers multiple regions to experience these country's diverse landscapes.
